BTE: Team HK-MU : 1st Anniversary

Journey of a thousand miles begins with a simple step

It always seem impossible until it's done, and our 1st anniversary proves just that. The journey is long, but the goal is in each step.

Summerize

Congratulations! We've now stepped onto the second year of our project. Throughout the past year, we've acheived a lot completing multiple areas across Hong Kong and Macau. Before we go on, let's watch this video on the right and appreciate the great work we've done. We'll be making multiple advancements in the upcoming year, so stay tuned and be sure to follow our social media pages!

Key Memories

When Things Started

Back in April 2020, PippenFTS, a YouTuber, published a video calling for the establishment of the Build The Earth project. Many Hong Kong Minecraft players had the passion to create their own city, and gathered in this project forming a team. At the first few months, areas such as Tseung Kwan O, Yuen Long, Whampoa, Airport and Central were built, building the foundation of what we see today.

Expansion

Things got on track after May, where the team started expanding. Multiple promotional strategies were adopted, including sharing in LIHKG (a local forum), Facebook, and our own YouTube channel. Your support has motivated us to move forward, especially people who don't play Minecraft, which we would like to give our deepest appreciation.

Local Attention

Our work over the past months were proudly recognized by various local media, including an interview introducing our project and presenting our story.
